What is your returns policy?
Joan Davis Dresses is a small art based business therefore we cannot offer monetary credit. However we do accept exchanges in size or style of equal of lesser value within 7 days of receipt of purchase. Customer responsible for return shipping costs. All tags must be as originally attached.

Why does shipping take up to 3-weeks?
Joan Davis Dresses is an environmentally conscious company that wants to eliminate excess production. Therefore most pieces are special ordered from each purchase.
Why silk and velvet?
The silk and velvet fabrics are meant to showcase the print and compliment the body. These fabrics allow for the colors to shine brightly while also giving extreme comfort.
Wash care
Cold water wash and hang to dry recommended.

Joan Davis is an internationally recognized painter for her decades of brilliant floral and abstract paintings. She has been famously commissioned around the world including wall decor, fabrics and now fashion.

WHAT IS THE LYNNE ORA KUSHEL ENDOWMENT FUND?
The Lynne Ora Kushel Endowment Fund supports research and awareness of bipolar disorders through the UC Davis Mind Institute in Sacramento California.
Lynne Ora Kushel was Joan's one and only younger sister. Lynne was a talented sculptor, business woman, and attorney. Sadly Lynne suffered from a bipolar disorder. When Lynne took her own life at the age of 46 Joan was reminded of all the beautiful years playing dress up with her sister and therefore dedicates each dress to her. A percentage of each sale goes to the Endowment.
